It’s been 14 years 
He hasn’t been forgotten by those who held him dear 
14 years since Fred’s been pulling pranks. 
He was the best prankster in his brother’s ranks. 
Fred was George’s best friend. 
He didn’t want his brother’s life to end. 

14 years have passed. 
Teddy Lupin has always asked 
‘Where’s mummy and daddy?’ 
And Harry has always answered ‘They fought the baddies’ 
He’d sit Teddy down 
‘Your parents were the best around. 
They were brave. 
Their lives were all they gave. 
To save the world for you. 
Their measure of love - you don’t have a clue.’ 

For the last 14 years, 
Severus has been renowned as the one for cheer. 
For it was he who helped save Harry’s life 
Though Lily Evans wasn’t his wife. 
Harry took over the image of that Potter. 
All Severus wanted wasn’t the slaughter 
of his poor Lily Evans, 
He screamed and cried to the heavens. 
When he found her lifeless body, 
Her son left in no one’s custody. 

14 years are many 
For Dennis to be here without his brother Colin Creevey. 
All Colin wanted was a sincere photograph 
And have a good old laugh. 
With his idol Mr. H. Potter. 
If only Colin had come on a little less stronger. 

14 years have gone. 
Since 50 more had gone on. 
To the next world. 
Their families had all cried and hurled 
All their feelings 
Death is such a miserable dealing. 

For the last 168 months, 
And the many more to come. 
Fred, Remus, Nymphodora, 
Severus, Colin, and many more 
We will forever remember. 
Though I start to tear 
At the thought of those lost lives. 
Who gave their all in sacrifice. 
For the wizarding community. 
You guys, we’ll always love you, unconditionally. 

Remember at 7pm at every year. 
7 minutes that you must hold dear. 
To remember the fallen at the Battle of Hogwarts. 
7 minutes of your time with feel like quartz.
